The Biblical Perspective

Abortion is not a “political issue.” It is the destroying of a human life. Ultimately, it is a dishonor to the Lord. One pro-life writer (the second to last link) writes, “We have been chipping away at the essential, inherent value of human beings…” The issue isn’t even that there is an “essential, inherent value” in human beings. No, we are worthless, and detestable, but we were also “fearfully, and wonderfully made.”

“For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am
fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,

We are the works of His good hand. He hates murder, and that is what abortion is. legalized murder.
