thankful thursday

thankful for

1. a job.
2. family. my mother who always cooks delicious meals, my father who works tirelessly for the family, my brother who loves the Lord and is such an example of diligence =)
3. the word of God. it never fails to sober my mind toward the things of God, no matter what the circumstance, the word never changes.
4. sisters. everywhere I go, the Lord has been providing sisters who love me. They are there to challenge me with the things of God, pray for me, eat with me, cry with me, laugh with me, laugh at me, love God with me…
5. pastors. i have 5 pastors. 3 who i miss dearly, and 2 under whom i am currently (stupid prepositions…) i’ve been able to see, thoughout the years, a small glimpse of how much they go through. even that small glimpse was so overwhelming… everytime i hear of or see them going through stuff i think to myself “how do they do it?” and i grow a bit anxious for them. but the Lord is their shepherd and He is working all things for their good.
they continue, in the midst of all the tireless ministering, to faithfully cut straight the word of God and to deliver it to God’s people every week, several times a week. amazing. thank God for faithful pastors.
6. a day off on saturday. this was my first week at work, and usually they don’t give saturday’s off, but this saturday is free! and i know exactly how i want to spend it. <3
